Sonchaux & Malatraix
A Natural Amphitheater Between Cliffs and Lake
Some places are made for spectacle. Villeneuve is one of them.
Pilots take off from Sonchaux. They fly over the Malatraix cliffs. And they land on the square, on the rafts, or in the water. Everything is visible with the naked eye from the ground.

Sonchaux — The legendary takeoff
One of Switzerland's most famous free-flight sites. Thermal conditions are ideal.

Malatraix — The cliff
The Malatraix cliffs tower above Lake Geneva. This is where wingsuit pilots and base jumpers launch from.

Villeneuve — Base camp
Villeneuve square is the heart of the event. Stage, giant screens, bars, food trucks, stands.
Why here and nowhere else
The Acro Show exists here because geography made it so. The cliffs provide altitude. The lake provides the landing zone.
