Speedflying
04.4
Full Speed Along the Cliffs
A wing smaller than a paraglider. Faster. Twitchier. And a pilot tracing the cliff face like they're painting it with their canopy.
Speedflying is the cross between paragliding and skydiving. The wing is cut down — more speed, less lift, precision measured in inches.
From Villeneuve square, the speedflyer looks like a streak of color racing down the mountain. It's the kind of discipline where you hold your breath without realizing it.
